1. Acceptance of Terms :
By accessing, browsing, registering on, or using the Real Contractors platform (www.realcontractors.in), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions ('Terms'), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable Indian laws. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('User', 'Contractor', 'Builder', or 'Visitor') and Sunosys Backend Business Solutions LLP ('Company', 'we', 'us', 'our'), the owner and operator of Real Contractors.
2. Definitions :
Term & Meaning
Platform : The website www.realcontractors.in, its subdomains, APIs, and any future mobile applications
Contractor : Any individual, sole proprietor, firm, or company registering to offer construction or real estate services on the Platform.
Builder / Client : Any individual or company seeking to hire or discover Contractors through the Platform.
Membership : A paid subscription tier (Starter / Pro / Elite) granting access to Platform features.
Content : Any text, images, profiles, documents, or data submitted or displayed on the Platform.
Listing : A Contractor's public profile displayed on the Platform for discovery by Builders.
Lead : Contact or project information shared by the Platform to a Contractor or Builder.
3. Platform Description & Nature :
Real Contractors is a B2B marketplace and contractor intelligence platform that facilitates connections between verified contractors and project-giving companies (builders, developers, infrastructure firms) in India, with a primary focus on Maharashtra.The Company operates as a marketplace intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. The Platform does not itself provide construction services, employ contractors, guarantee project outcomes, or act as a party to any contract between Contractors and Builders.
Intermediary Status : Sunosys Backend Business Solutions LLP. is an intermediary under IT Act, 2000 Section 79.
We are not liable for the actions, quality of work, or contractual obligations of Contractors or Builders transacting through the Platform.
4. User Eligibility & Registration:
• Users must be 18 years or older and legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872
• Contractors must be engaged in lawful construction, real estate, or related trade activities
• Corporate users must be duly registered entities under applicable Indian law
• One account per person or business entity. Duplicate or impersonation accounts will be suspended
• All information provided during registration must be accurate, complete, and current,
By registering, you warrant that all submitted information is true and grant us the right to verify your identity and credentials, including through PAN, Aadhaar (masked), GST, or third-party verification services.
5. Membership Plans & Payment Terms:
5.1 Plans
Starter / Founding Plan : Duration is Monthly,Quaterly, Annual .
Key Features :Basic listing, eligibility score, limited leads
Pro Plan : Duration is Monthly,Quaterly, Annual .
Key Features : Enhanced profile, priority leads, verified badge, WhatsApp access.
Elite Plan : Duration is Monthly,Quaterly, Annual .
Key Features : Premium placement, unlimited leads, dedicated support, featured listing
5.2 Payment :
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST
• Payments are processed through Razorpay. By paying, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service
• Memberships auto-renew unless cancelled at least 7 days before the renewal date
• We reserve the right to revise pricing with 30 days' notice to registered users.
5.3 Refund Policy :
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy available at www.realcontractors.in/refund-policy. In summary:
• Founding Member / one-time registration fees: Non-refundable after 7 days of purchase
• Annual memberships: Pro-rata refund within 14 days of purchase if no leads have been accessed
• No refunds for memberships cancelled mid-term after the 14-day window
• Refunds, if applicable, are processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method
6. User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct :
6.1 All Users Must :
• Provide accurate and truthful information at all times
• Keep login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Use the Platform only for lawful business purposes
• Comply with all applicable Indian laws, including GST, labour, and construction regulations.
6.2 Prohibited Activities :
The following are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and legal action:
• Submitting false, misleading, or fabricated credentials, licences, or work experience
• Impersonating another contractor, builder, or company
• Posting fake reviews, ratings, or testimonials
• Soliciting or accepting payments outside the Platform to circumvent fees
• Scraping, crawling, or harvesting Platform data without written permission
• Uploading malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Using the Platform to conduct or facilitate any illegal activity
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users
• Listing services outside your actual trade competency to mislead Builders
7. Content & Intellectual Property:
7.1 User Content You retain ownership of the content you submit (profile photos, project images, business descriptions). By submitting content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and promote your content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace.
7.2 Platform IP All Platform content, design, software, branding ('Real Contractors', logo, scoring methodology, category taxonomy), and technology are the exclusive property of Sunosys Backend Business Solutions LLP, protected under Indian intellectual property law. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.
7.3 Accuracy of ContentAs required under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, all Contractors must ensure that their profile descriptions, service capabilities, and credentials are accurate and not misleading. The Company may remove or modify any content found to be inaccurate.
8. Contractor Eligibility Score & Verification:
The Real Contractors 100-point Eligibility Score is a proprietary scoring model designed to help Builders assess contractor quality. It is based on information submitted by the Contractor and does not constitute a guarantee of quality, reliability, or fitness for any specific project.
• The score is informational only and is not a professional certification.
• Background verification (where available for premium tiers) is conducted by third-party partners.
• The Company is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the Eligibility Score.
• Contractors found to have submitted false information will be immediately de-listed and reported.
9. Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law:
• The Platform is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• The Company is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Platform
• The Company is not a party to agreements between Contractors and Builders. Any disputes arising from such agreements are solely between those parties
• The Company's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the User to the Company in the 3 months preceding the claim
• The Company is not liable for platform downtime, data loss, or technical failures beyond its reasonable control.
10. Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sunosys Backend Business Solutions LLP, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
• Any inaccuracy in information submitted by you to the Platform
• Any dispute between you and another user of the Platform
11. Grievance Redressal (Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020) :
In compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and IT Act, 2000:

Ticket System : A unique ticket number is provided for every complaint for tracking.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution :
• These Terms are governed by the laws of India
• The courts at Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes
• We encourage amicable resolution. Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through written notice and 30 days of good-faith negotiation
• Unresolved disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement in Pune
13. Modifications to Terms :
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to registered users via email at least 15 days before the effective date. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Termination :
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, with or without notice, for:
• Breach of these Terms or any applicable law
• Fraudulent, misleading, or harmful conduct on the Platform
• Non-payment of membership fees
• Any activity detrimental to other users or the integrity of the Platform
Upon termination, your access to the Platform will cease. Data retention post-termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
